How we treat your information.

Still Candles Pty Ltd (ACN to follow), trading as Still…, collects and processes personal information about its customers, prospective customers, and partners. This policy is written to be readable rather than legally exhaustive. It explains, in plain language, what we collect, why, how we hold it, and your rights.

What we collect

• Information you provide when you order — name, postal address, payment information (held by Stripe; we never see your card number), and the personalisation details you choose to share with us (the deceased’s name, dates, scent preference).
• Information you provide when you write to us, sign up for emails, or express interest in the founding family.
• Basic technical information about your visit to this website (page views, device type, country) collected via privacy-respecting analytics. We do not use Google Analytics.

What we do with it

• We use it to fulfil your order and the recurring anniversary refills you have asked us to send.
• We use it to write to you when there is something quietly worth saying.
• We do not sell, rent, or trade your data, ever.
• We share it only with the small set of providers required to deliver your order — shipping carriers, Stripe (payments), Brevo (email), and Sanity (content).

Your rights

You can write to hello@stillcandle.org at any time to request a copy of the information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Chain-of-custody records relating to a loved one’s remains are retained indefinitely unless you specifically request otherwise — this is a deliberate choice in the family’s interest.

Cookies

This site uses only the cookies strictly necessary to operate it (e.g. checkout session). We do not use marketing or behavioural tracking cookies.

Updates

This policy will evolve as the business does. Material changes will be communicated to existing customers by email.
